SENIORS: Graduation product orders will be taken on Thursday, September 10, from 10:0 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the cafeteria commons and again from 3:15 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. in the Athletic Foyer.

SOPHOMORES: Sophomore class ring orders will be taken on Thursday, September 10, from 10:0 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the cafeteria commons and again from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the Athletic Foyer.

STUDENTS: After school detention will not be available until further notice. You may sit detention before school, beginning at 7:00 a.m., in the area outside Mr. Fischer’s office.

STUDENTS: The ballot for the second round of voting for homecoming has been sent to you. Voting ends at 10:00 p.m. tomorrow. Please encourage your classmates to vote as well.

Students interested in attending the virtual visit with Franklin College during reading period on Thursday, September 10, must sign up in the counseling office today in order to attend.

Auditions for the fall play “The Great Gatsby” will be held today at 3:15 and again tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. in the PAC.

STUDENT DRIVERS: You are required to have a parking sticker to park on school property. Authorized student parking areas are the football parking lot and the tennis parking lot. You are not authorized to park in the baseball parking lot.  Parking stickers are available in the school store for $10. If you have not purchased your sticker please do so.

We've decided to extend our dance cats virtual tryout (video submission) to Friday, September 18. Anyone interested in becoming a part of the MVHS DANCE CATS 20-21 Season please email Coach Ivy at elsfelderid@mvschool.org.

Clothing should not expose undergarments and sagging is not allowed.  No pajamas or house slippers.

Monday, August 31, 2020 MARRS VIRTUAL LEARNING DAY

IMPORTANT: Virtual Learning Day Monday, August 31, 2020 for Marrs Elementary Students Only.

Due to the water main break, Marrs Elementary students will not report on campus and will have a Virtual Learning Day on Monday, August 31. Teachers will post lessons in Google Classroom by 10:00 AM Monday morning.

You are not authorized to park in the baseball parking lot.  Parking stickers are available in the school store for $10 and must be purchased by Friday, August 21.

STUDENTS: If you arrive in the morning and do not have a mask you are to report to the main gym to receive one. Masks are to be worn so that they cover both your nose and mouth. Please pull your masks up when in the halls and when you can’t social distance.

Picture day will be Thursday, September 3 .

Off season workouts for baseball will begin Sept. 8 for all boys interested in playing baseball this spring that is not in a fall sport.  We will meet at the baseball field after school on Tuesday and Thursdays in September and October. You must have a physical on file and your Final Forms information filled out before you can participate. If you have any questions, see Coach Quinzer in B127.

STUDENTS: After school detention will not be available until further notice. You may sit detention before school, beginning at 7:00 a.m., in the area outside Mr. Fischer’s office.

This year MVHS will again be having a Leadership Academy for students who hold leadership positions in organizations and clubs at MVHS or in the community.  The Leadership Academy will meet before school at 7:00 am with various business and community leaders speaking.  Current juniors and seniors may apply. Applications are available in the Counseling Office and are due by Wednesday, September 2.

FRESHMEN: Please check your email for the freshman officer ballot.  Voting ends today at 11:30am.

REMINDER:  Afternoon SICTC students are to get their lunch and be on the bus ready to leave by 10:50 a.m. each day.

STUDENTS: Reminder: the school dress code indicates that shorts or skirts/dresses should be fingertip in length when your arms are resting at your side. Tops that expose your bare midriff or that are low cut are not permitted. Sleeveless tops, tank tops, tube tops, and spaghetti strap tops are not allowed.
