Join the MSD of Mt. Vernon Team!
Great schools start with great people.
At MSD of Mt. Vernon, we believe our employees are one of the most important parts of what makes our district special. Whether you are a teacher, paraprofessional, bus driver, custodian, secretary, cafeteria employee, administrator, or part of our maintenance and operations team, you have a role in helping our students succeed.
We are looking for people who care about kids, take pride in their work, build strong relationships, and believe in getting better every day. Experience and expertise matter, but so do character, work ethic, attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Our goal is more than simply filling positions. We want to find the right people, support them well, and create a place where they want to stay. We want our employees to feel like they belong—not simply that they were hired.
If you are looking for a place where you can make a difference, grow professionally, and be part of a team that cares about one another and the students we serve, we invite you to explore our current opportunities.
Don't see a position that fits right now? We'd still like to hear from you. Send your resume to our Human Resources Specialist, Alyssa Wood, and we'll keep you in mind as opportunities become available.
Come be a part of MSD of Mt. Vernon. Let's get better together.
Professional Growth & Support at MSD of Mt. Vernon
We believe learning never stops. That applies to our students, but it applies to our employees as well.
We want people to grow in their careers, take on new challenges, and continually improve their craft. Professional development at MSD of Mt. Vernon isn't simply about checking a box or completing required training. It's about giving our people the tools, support, and opportunities they need to be successful.
Learn From Others
Our instructional coaches and experienced educators provide more than professional development. They are mentors, collaborators, and resources who work alongside our staff to help strengthen instruction and improve outcomes for students.
We believe some of the best learning happens when good people work together, share ideas, and learn from one another.
Support When You Need It
Starting a new job can be exciting—and it can also be a lot to take on. Whether you're a first-year teacher, an experienced educator joining our district, or stepping into a completely new role, you shouldn't have to figure it all out by yourself.
We are committed to helping new employees get connected, understand our culture, and feel supported as they become part of the team.
Opportunities to Grow
Professional growth doesn't stop with your current position. We want to help employees identify their strengths, develop new skills, and pursue opportunities for leadership and advancement.
Whether your goal is to become a better teacher, take on a leadership role, learn a new skill, or simply become better at what you do every day, we want to help you grow.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe our employees should be valued not only through words, but through the compensation, benefits, and opportunities we provide.
