Fine Arts

MVHS Performing Arts provides many different opportunities for our students. We have two choirs at the high school, Concert Choir and Chorale. We produce a fully staged play each fall semester, directed by Mr. Kevin Roach and fully staged musical each spring semester, directed by Dr. Baker and Mr. Roach. In addition to these productions we also have MVHS Children's. It is a theatre production featuring MVHS students as the performers and directors. Each Fall we perform this show to all the area elementary schools.

In the last few years we have also added two new opportunities:

First, To help build up participation in our JH and HS choirs, we began the MV Youth Choir. This is an ensmeble open to all 4th and 5th graders in our district. We rehearse on after school at MVHS, and there is free bus transportation directly from the elemenatary school to MVHS!

Second, In the summer of 2023 we started the MV Summer Musical program. This is a musical theatre production for K-12 MVHS students and alumni. We presented Annie in 2023 and Disney's The Little Mermaid in 2025. Our next summer musical will be in the summer of 2027!
