About MSDMV's School Board
The School Board for the Metropolitan School District of Mount Vernon is a group of locally elected community members committed to serving the students, families, and staff of our district. As a board, we work to set policies that support academic excellence, student well-being, and responsible fiscal management. We collaborate closely with the superintendent and district leadership to ensure all decisions reflect the best interests of our schools and community. Our goal is to provide an environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
