STUDENTS:

• Bus 10 will be driving bus 2211 until further notice.

• Students please be sure to sign into e-hallpass every morning, especially if you have an appointment for that day. E-hallpass is how you will be notified to leave your appointment.

• Call-Out meeting next Tuesday, August 22nd at 7:30 for any student that would like to find out about BPA in my Room D107.

• Auditions for the Fall Play are NEXT Tuesday and Wednesday, 

8/22 & 8/23 3:15-5:300PM in the PAC. The sign up sheet is posted on the wall outside the choir room.  Contact Mr. Baker if you have any questions.

• Yearbooks: Mrs. Thomas is anticipating the shipment of 2022-2023 yearbooks to arrive in about three weeks.

• The eSports team is accepting applications for the fall season.  There will be three teams:  Fortnite, Rocket League, and Valorant.If you are interested in joining the team, please scan the QR code on the poster on the bulletin board across from the counseling office.

Cross Country Picture Day is….TODAY - Thursday, August 17, 2023  Order Code: 81173M

   Fall Picture Day is… Wednesday, October 25 & Thursday, October 26 Order Code: 80451S

• There will be a meeting for anyone interested in being a member of the Spell Bowl Team in the Media Center this Friday, August 18th during the Reading Period. 

• Friendly reminder from the MVHS Chapter of the National Honor Society that all students only get one chance to start the year off right!  It is easier to keep up, than catch up!  Also all members of the NHS will be expected to attend the first mandatory NHS meeting on Thursday, August 17th, at 7:30a sharp in the media center.  The meeting should last around 15 minutes.  Any member unable to attend due to school related activities, should notify either Mr. Bacon or Mr. Bethel BEFORE August 17th.

• Swim club is looking for lifeguards able to guard from 5:30-7:30 M- Th nights.

• Red Cross Lifeguarding classes are being offered starting Friday, August 25, 2023 and the cost is $135.00 - make checks payable to MVHS.

• Looking for extra help with your classes? Free peer tutoring is available for any subject in the Media Center at 7:30 each morning. Hope to see you there!
