STUDENTS:

• If you have an issue with your schedule, please email your counselor.  

• Students please be sure to sign into e-hallpass every morning, especially if you have an appointment for that day. E-hallpass is how you will be notified to leave your appointment.

• Any student interested in joining Student Council should come to the first meeting on Wednesday, August 16 at 7:30 AM in room C103 across from the Media Center. 

• All Students interested in attending sporting events and helping create a home court and home field advantage come to be a part of MV Pep Club. This is a great opportunity to support your friends and classmates and help them win games, while working together to create themes, cheers, and a great game day experience for everyone! Pep Club members will receive game day perks and have opportunities to win prizes as well as being able to get into all games for FREE!

Our enrollment meeting will be Tuesday morning August 15th in the HS Aux Gym at 7:30am. Returning members from last year cost $10 and new members will be $15. Tuesday we will be serving breakfast pizzas and donuts...come out and enjoy!!

• Friendly reminder from the MVHS Chapter of the National Honor Society that all students only get one chance to start the year off right!  It is easier to keep up, than catch up!

Also all members of the NHS will be expected to attend the first mandatory NHS meeting on Thursday, August 17th, at 7:30a sharp in the media center.  The meeting should last around 15 minutes.  Any member unable to attend due to school related activities, should notify either Mr. Bacon or Mr. Bethel BEFORE August 17th.

• Swim club is looking for lifeguards able to guard from 5:30-7:30 M- Th nights.

• Red Cross Lifeguarding classes are being offered starting Friday, August 25, 2023 and the cost is $135.00 - make checks payable to MVHS.

Must perform prerequisite skills 
Complete approximately 5-6 hours of online work.

• Looking for extra help with your classes? Free peer tutoring is available for any subject in the Media Center at 7:30 each morning. Hope to see you there!
