TO THE STUDENTS: 

SENIORS: 

• Seniors if you haven't picked up your Graduation Cap/Gown please pick them up in the Counseling Office ASAP.. 

• Every Senior MUST order a new cap and gown if you are planning on participating in the graduation ceremony.  Place your order online at www.jostens.com 

• Your chromebooks will be collected on Wednesday, May 17th before Senior Recognition Practice.

1. Key Club Chemo Buddies fundraiser is due May 19th.

2. All books and materials from the Media Center are now due.

3. ALL detention hours must be served by this Friday, May 5th.  Detentions can be served after school in Room B116 or before school in the main office by Mr. Fischer’s office.

4. Please mark your calendar for the annual MVHS Spring Art Show on Wed. May 17 and Thurs. May 18. Classes are welcome to visit! Please let me know if you need ideas for an assignment related to your curriculum. The show will be in the high school art room F102, across from the cafeteria. 

The Spring Art Show times are:
Wed. May 17 - 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and 5:00-7:00 pm
Thur. May 18 - 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

5. Mount Vernon Color Guard auditions are May 3rd, and 8th in the high school band room from 5:45 to 7:00pm. No experience necessary, we will teach you what you need to know!"

6. Wednesday May 10th is Free Physical Night.  Pre-Screening for out-of-season athletes will start at 5:00 PM, in-season athletes should arrive starting at 5:30 PM.  No admittance after 6:45 PM.  Be sure to log into FinalForms and update your information before that night.  Please print out the IHSAA physical forms to bring and if you haven't had the baseline concussion testing done before then you should bring your chromebook with you.
