The Mount Vernon Police Department will be hosting the Junior Police Academy, June 7 through June 11. If you are interested, please see Lieutenant Gonzalez for an application. You must have a 3.0 GPA and your application must be returned by May 7.

Studios!!! The results of the National Library Week, “Select How Many Marbles Are in a Glass Jar,” Contest has been tabulated and certified.  210 students entered submissions with guesses varying from 1 to 1,264 marbles. There were a grand total of 77 marbles.  The winners, who will be awarded a book of their choice, are Jaden Wilson, Chris Newman, and Sam Heckman.

The Fine Arts Academy will present our spring musical, “The Wedding Singer,” tonight at 7:00 p.m. and tomorrow at 2:00 & 7:00 pm.  Student tickets will be available at the door where you can pay with cash or card, but the best way to reserve a seat is to order online. All seating is automatically socially distanced, so if you want to sit with your friends, remember to order all your tickets together!
