West Elementary School has two main fundraisers: one in the fall and the Walk-a-thon in the spring. We do several givebacks at local restaurants throughout the year including Scooter's, Dairy Queen, Twisted Tomato, Hawg N Sauce and Maria's Mexican Grill.

We offer a completely free Santa Shop to our students every year that allows them to 'buy' gifts for members of their families. We have popcorn Fridays once a month.  Funds that we raise also go towards our students field trips, our West Family Picnic (no cost picnic dinner for every student and their entire family with raffles, dancing and camaraderie), Grandparent's Day, staff luncheons, books that we provide at no cost to every student during our spring book fair, playground upgrades, stipend for every teacher for classroom supplies, fifth grade graduation parties, Teacher Appreciation Week, and more throughout the school year.
