TO THE STUDENTS:
- Did you miss out on the senior ceiling tile painting day? If so, seniors can still purchase ceiling tiles for $5. Contact Kaleigh Kelley to get a form filled out and the design approved if you are wanting to take a tile home to paint.
- Appeal for Credit forms must be turned into Mr. Fischer or Mrs. C Burnett (A105) by tomorrow morning (Tuesday, December 13, 2022). If you receive an Appeal for Credit form and fail to complete it, you will automatically lose your credit for that class.
- In January, Mt. Vernon will begin an eSports program to compete against other high schools in the state. Students interested in being a part of the team, should see one of the posters hanging in the school and scan the QR code to complete an application. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Kissinger.
- April 29, 20223 - Prom at USI in Carter Hall from 8:00pm-11:00pm. Tickets will be sold 3 weeks prior to prom and tickets will be $30 each.

CONGRATULATIONS: The Mount Vernon Wildcat Girls Swim Team had another solid showing, topping 8 teams in the Terre Haute Splashing Through the Snow Invitational. The Wildcats took 1st place in 8 of 12 events in a decisive victory. The MV varsity wrestling team racked up some momentum over the weekend going 7-1 at their pre-conference duals. The wildcats toppled Tecumseh, Boonville,Princeton, Washington, Pike Central, Forest Park, and South Spencer. The Wildcats fell short in a competitive dual (34-48), against the reigning 1A state champs the Tell City Marksmen. The Wildcats look to carry this momentum into their next two home duals this week against South Ridge (12/13) and our county rivals North Posey (12/15).
