Hello Wildcat Family:

Due to the rapid spread and increase in positive COVID cases, quarantines, and other illnesses in students and staff, all MSD of Mt. Vernon Schools will be in session via eLearning days beginning Monday, January 24 through Wednesday, January 26.  

No classes will be held at any MSD of Mt. Vernon school campus.

No make-up day will be necessary for this closure.

General reminders for eLearning:

1. Teachers will post assignments by 10:00 AM (unless otherwise notified by your teacher).

2. Assignments given on an eLearning day will be due within two school days upon return to school.

3. Teachers and teacher assistants will be available by email and may schedule individual Google Meets between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

4. There may be scheduled Classroom Google Meets.

5. SICTC students will continue to follow the EVSC schedule- bus transportation will be provided from the HS to SICTC and back for both sessions 

6. Extra curricular events will continue as scheduled.

7. Lunch will be provided at each building from 11AM-12PM at the following locations:

           MVHS- Door 17 (access through gated area between JH and HS on south side of campus)

           MVJHS- Door 6 (access through gated area between JH and HS on south side of campus)

           Farmersville- Door 6 (northwest corner of building)

           Marrs- Door 2 (east side)

           West- Door 8 (northwest corner-access via drive on west side of building)

When we return to in person learning on Thursday and going forward, please keep your child at home when sick, or if there is someone in the household getting tested for COVID.
